Hi, there's quite a lot of various bits of information on this Middle East link. Is there something you want to know that isn't covered in the previous posts? I know I've written a number of responses to what it's like to live here in the middle east. I'm going into my third year in Abu Dhabi.

Expatmich, beware of the Sanman. Today he sent me a message saying he was offered a job in Doha Qatar with the Cornell School of Medicine. Yesterday he told you he was going to work in the U.A.E. in the financial field!!!!!

Strange to me!

I think there's quite a fair amount of information between the different links on the middle east section of this page to help anyone right now with basic ideas of what it's like to live here and work here (I know, I wrote a lot of the responses!). Also, there's lots of information on the www.expatexchange.com network on living and working in the UAE as well (some of which I wrote to help people on that list). At this point, I think people can get a fair idea of what it's like, unless there's specific questions that haven't been answered......so Sanman you could go back and read all the previous links to get a more clear idea of what your parents might be facing.....
