Looking for some info on Ancestry Visa

Hello,
I am a first-time poster, and would appreciate any and all advice on this subject! I will try to give all the pertinent information, we are at a very preliminary stage of planning right now. My husband and I would like to get a Visa to the UK. I am eligible on the Ancestry Visa (my Grandmother was born in England) and I’m certain I can get all of the proper birth certificates etc. My husband is a contractor and has his own business. He would keep his business in Canada, handing it over to his brother to run for him. We would like to go to the UK, with him continuing to do the same work, as well as building a home (for resale – not for ourselves). If we are using me as the person with Ancestry is it okay that he is the primary worker? (He would not qualify on the Ancestry Visa.) We have two young kids, and from home I am the “office person” for the business, although technically I don't collect a salary. This is what we would continue to do. As far as money, we would sell our house here, which would at bare minimum, worst-case scenario put $50K (CDN) in our pockets. We would also make sure there was a savings account with some money as well, and on paper we would still have his business here. We also would have an investor here to help us out on building a home there. So we would not be actively looking for employment, but starting a business ourselves. Would this be an issue? Would are kids be fine to go to school? And how would health care work for us (as self employed) ? I appreciate any input!
