Looking to get Right of Abode/Cert of Entitlement in UK

Hey everyone,

What a helpful place this is for us hosers!

I have a question regarding Right of Abode:

If I go to the UK using my current Canadian Passport to get in, can I apply for and recieve my certificate of entitlement sticker on my Cdn passport while I am in the UK, from their embassy offices over there?? Also, if this is possible, how long will it take to get??

My mom was born in England, is currently still a citizen there, and I was born in 1985.

I've tried calling several border/embassy numbers and haven't gotten a straight answer on this. Any one that knows please let me know!
