Looking to Live and work in the USA

Hi,

I'm a canadian citizen, and my GF lives in Austin, Texas.

I currently work as a Senior Software Developer, and I'm looking at my options for living and working in the united states.

I know I could get a TN Visa if I had a college diploma which I don't, however I have 4 years experience doing what I do.

I also have a job offer from a company down there, but I'm not sure what I need to apply for to be able to as soon as possible work down there.

I also would like to know if there's any issue with me working for this austin based company from canada until all moving/immigration/etc stuff is completed?
