Luggage Storage in Barcelona

Post Sun Dec 27, 2009 7:06 am

Hey Spain!
My girlfriend and I (from near Vancouver) are currently living in Edinburgh and loving it - but we'll be heading to Spain for the summer, starting off with the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage (800km walk from French/Spanish boarder near Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela). Afterwards we're meeting up with my family in Barcelona, so I'm trying to find some affordable luggage storage solutions for our two big backpacks, as we will only be taking small packs with us for the Camino.

If anyone has any suggestions, or knows of any hostels or hotels that store luggage it would be greatly appreciated!

Looking at the airport and train station luggage storage lockers it will cost us about 300 Euros for the time it will take us to walk the Camino (about 30 days).

Thanks!
Matt

hi,

Luggage storage in BCNa - barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/transport/baggage-storage-barcelona.html

A word of warning...pick-pockets are rife in Barcelona, and they are so skilled they could teach a degree course in the art of pick-pocketing! They can spot a tourist from a mile off and you won't even know you've been robbed until after. Be careful with your bag, wallet, cards etc

Cheap lodging in Barcelona:

i do not advice you to stay at hostel in BCNa centre, cos you will not be able to sleep, when you share the room with 10 people, moreover the beds are durty and the price is 30 euros per person.

When i was the last time in Barcelona in August 2009 i rented a very nice room in the shared apartment just in the city centre (close to LAS RAMBLAS and PLACA CATALUNYA). It was just 25€/night and there were only the landlady (her name is RENA, she speaks english and french) and me.I had my keys, so i was able to come back home even early in the morning and also i was able to take a bath any time i want and i cooked at home, so i saved a lot. If smb is interested, here is her email: r_s_2002@mail.ru  I know, that she also gives for rent all her apartment for rent and stays at her friend´s house, but i do not know the price or rent daily room/apartment in Barcelona near Boqueria Market Barcelonarealestate.es (studio 50€)
