Marketing jobs?

Hi. I moved here in June '04 and almost immediately got a five month contract through a friend, although not in my chosen field of marketing. I hold a British passport as my Dad is Scottish. It was great to get work right away and begin to feel settled in my new home. I am now back in the UK after a Christmas visit to Toronto and I'm having a real challenge getting marketing work. I have three years' experience working for one of Canada's top sports and entertainment companies, but over here I can't even get registered with temp agencies! Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks all! p.s. Even though it's a tough market, I love London!

I am on the same boat! I am finding it so hard to find a good job in Marketing too!! I have 5 years of Marketing experience and here I am in London doing various temp work. Sorry I can't help, but just want to let you know you are not alone.
