Marriage query

Hi All
Im after a little bit of advice, I have done the stupid thing of falling hopelessley in love with a Canadian. He lives in Ontario. We would like to get married and have discussed getting married in the UK. We are planning for me to move to Canada with him. I wont be working as he will support me financially.
i need to know if we can get married in the UK?
