Marrying my American GF in Canada

Im a UK citizen who is currently barred from the US for a visa overstay , my GF lives there and we looking to marry in Canada , maybe Vancouver . Can anyone with some know how tell us if this is an easy process ? We are looking for a simple registry office style ceremony .

Basically works the same way as in the UK, but you won't be able to get into the US (married or not) unless you get a waiver if you were banned.

Where do you plan on living after you're married? You'll still have to endure immigration process somewhere, whether US, or UK.

And as Steve mentioned if you're already banned, being married now isn't going to get you in. You'll have to go back to UK to wait out the petition and application and waiver process.
