I ended up getting a job in
Switzerland, in Geneva. It was very difficult and I think the only reason I landed this position was that my boyfriend was working at the
hotel that I am presently employed at. It may be very different in
France though, being a francophone nation we have an agreement with
France in that the visa is less specific to previous education. Whereas in
Switzerland you must have at least 2 years education and find a job in this profession. You should be able to get a visa based on any bartending job and then from there once living in
France you can look around. As well it may be a visa for up to two years, while in
Switzerland its limited to a year and exceptionally 18 months. Having an address in
France will make you more appealing to employers and you can meet them in person. I'm just uncertain if you need to have a job before applying for the visa or not in
France?? Where are you looking at moving to?
Good luck, if you have any more questions
