Merry Christmas everyone, hope your day has been wonderful. Have the parental units here visiting and I have just done the usual "eating like it's my last meal on earth" thing and now need to lay on the couch groaning and rubbing my belly!

Enjoy your holidays whatever your plans! All the best for 2007 from my family to yours.

Laura Smile

Yeah man, we're in BDA for xmas.

It's tradition that 3000 ex-pats (90% CDN) show up at Elbow Beach for a dip and many a holiday drink ~ pics to follow.
The sky was mainly sunny & the water temp. was about 68F, but after a few bevvies all was numb anyway. Cool

Your holiday went well I hope?
I hear ol' man winter is dissin' his attitude all over the left coast.

I also hope everyone had a great Christmas and lots to eat! Smile Here on the east coast has been warm and beautiful for the past few days Confused I was hoping for a light dusting of snow for Christmas day, but I guess I will take sun over rain. It's been a weird holiday for me all around with 3 close friends out of the country for Christmas, I am the crazy one that stayed home with family Confused haha
All the best! Smile

Wicked. 3000 expats, 90% Canadian? Next time you do the dip, I'll see if I can send you a CanuckAbroad bathing suit! We gotta get some of them posting in your Bermuda forum Smile I suppose a speedo could be arranged if that's your thing. Shocked

Yeah weather in Victoria was horrid. We got a huge dump of snow in November ( Exclamation Exclamation ) and then a bunch of wind storms. They say they were comparable to hurricane force winds. But you'd probably laugh. Either way, I'm glad to be in the okanagan for christmas, though it's a bit colder with more snow.

Anyways off to try this ice fishing thing. After picking up a case of Okanagan Spring. Cool

Merry christmas to you too Crystal*!
