Postby ktrujillo on Wed Sep 15, 2004 1:07 am

Hi, I just found out I can get Mexican Nationality. I neve knew I had anything to do with Mexico how cool :D Well today I went to a Mexican Consulate with my birth certificate and two pitcures and got a certificate of nationality with my picture on it. It was really cool I applyed for my mexican passport & matricula consular and also register my minor kids mexican birth certificates. Well this was all astonishing to me I speak no spanish and no one in my family speaks it either but my mom was born in mexico she only speaks english though. I guess you learn something new everyday!

That's something new. Please tell me which Consulate you went to, because here in Sacramento, California there is a waiting list for Mexican Nationality (Dual Citizenship). The older people are at the top of the waiting list.

I even showed my Mexican grandparents marriage certificate and my mother's and aunt's birth certificate. Even my father was born in Mexico.

Your response will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
