is she interviewing for the CR1 or the K3?

Either one, if you've been married for a few years already, it should be a cake walk, more of a formality than an interview.

At my K3 I was asked how long we'd been married, where we got married, why I was moving to the US rather than him moving to Canada, and she asked to see a couple of wedding photos. That was about it.

Your wife CANNOT take in any large handbags, no backpack, no briefcase. Her documentation for the interview should be carried in a plastic shopping bag, or a paper accordion file carrier. DO NOT take in a photo album, take only loose photos (an album won't fit thru the interviewers window). Don't forget the interview letter, security won't let her in without it! Food and drinks are also not allowed.

If her appointment is first thing in the morning, get there early! As soon as they open the doors, or earlier! That way she'll have less chance of having to sit there waiting all day long. The appointment times are a general guideline, not carved in stone. I got there early and was in and out before 9:30, but other people I know had to sit around until after lunch because they got there right on time.
