Movers to use (or avoid)

Can anyone recommend movers to use from Canada to Australia?
Or movers to avoid.

Any tips and traps on movers would be appreciated.

I did find the following site very useful but it seems to deal mostly with movers in the USA.

The lessons, of course, are to be applied anywhere.

Hi Alan,

We've used Allied from Toronto to Perth, and we got good service until we tried to do an insurance claim. They paid in the end, but it took over 5 months.

We also have friends that used them from Montreal and they were very happy with the service.
