Hey everyone!
Moving pets to australia is pretty complex. They need to be injected with a microchip for international database blah blah.
Can anyone tell me of an all-in-one pet agency who can take care of all this stuff in one shot instead of doing it all piecemeal and going nuts?

Thanks!

I am moving my cat there as well and I am halfway through the process. There is a lady in Calgary taking care of all the paperwork for me, otherwise it would be quite the hassle. PM me and I can give you her contact info. Cheers

Hi,

I am moving to Western Australia from Fort Mc Murray, Alberta and am battling to find out who the Official Governement Approved Vets and labs are in Alberta, I would really apprciate it if I could get the ladies' contact details in Calgary too.

Thank you SO much.
Regards
Natalie

But what if I don't want my pet to have a chip on her back? It's just giving me a bit of a paranoia here. Could I do that?

I've been looking into costs for taking my dog there. I can try to find the website I got my information from, but what I remember is there is a quarantine required of at least 30 days upon entry to Australia. You are responsible for the cost of food and care while in quarantine, as well as the vet check. I believe for my dog I calculated this to be about $800.
