My girlfriend and I are heading back to Canada and stumbled upon something about having to have your mattress fumigated (sterilized) if you're planning to bring it back. So we call up local moving companies, pest control and fumigation companies and they start laughing at us thinking that it was a prank. Is this for real? Does anyone know what really is going one?

I moved mine back last year (US to Canada) and never heard any mention of that.
