MOving back to Canada form the UK with child!

Please help.

I'm writing on behalf of my Canadian friend who has no internet access at the mo. She has married an Englishman and has lived out here for quite a few years. She wants to return to Canada long term with her child but without the husband! He is in agreement -

does anyone know how she can find out legal issues taking the child out of the UK. The child has British passport and was born here. Any suggestions. Maybe you know who she could ring to find out? She's leaving in a short time - 2 months.
