Moving back to Canada with British husband

Hi!

I'm a Canadian actually living in the UK. I got married here in 2008 to a British man. My husband and I want to move to Canada.

It is very confusing... I don't quite know which Visa we should apply for. It's hard to find information. I e-mailed the ambassy in London who promised to reply within 28 days but it's been 2 months and still nothing. Does anyone know?

Also, do you know if there's any exhibition about Canada in Manchester? You know, a place to find informations about moving abroad. Can't seem to find anything online.

You have to sponsor him for an immigrant visa.

In addition to the forms on that website, the Canadian High Commission has supplemental forms, http://www.canada.org.uk

Getting hold of someone to explain it to you is virtually impossible, the only real way is to physically go there and hope someone can spare you a moment. There is a call centre in Mississauga that deals with internal calls, calling them from outside of Canada though is very tricky and they can only help you with the CIC forms, not the High Commission ones.

They do have people from the High Commission at those immigration shows.
