My name is Heather Trevis, I am 18yrs old and I currently live in British Columbia, Canada. I plan on moving to London, England around the end of April beginning of May 2005 and was wondering if anyone is planning on doing anything the same? I'm pretty much looking for someone to go there with so the experience of moving somewhere else won't be so frightening and we could help each other along the way (ie. finding a flat, jobs, etc.) I have stayed in london before and have traveled around other parts of the UK.
Thanks to anyone who replies.

Heather

Hi Heather,

I just moved here from Richmond/Vancouver, B.C. If I can give you any advice I say that don't put all your money in bank drafts. You probably won't be able to get a bank account until you find a place and have a bill sent to you. That might take some time so have access to your bank at home via your ATM card and use credit cards in the meantime. If you need any other help or advice you can always private message me.

Hi Heather,

I would have liked to do that but unfortunately, I am not leaving till August 2005 and I am in Toronto. I was also thinking that it would be less frightening to at least travel there with someone. I wish you the best of luck! I am sure you'll be fine.
