Moving family to England (Warwickshire)

I have previously lived and worked in
England with a UK Ancestry Visa.
12 years later.I am returning
June 2008 with husband and two
school-aged children. Husband also
qualifies for Ancestry Visa. I am
a qualified teacher with BA and BEd.
Husband is Trade Qualified Carpenter.
Would like to return to Midlands
(Warwickshire but have also considered
Leicestershire)and perhaps obtain
government research /admin job.
Question: I need to register 1 child
in primary and 1 child in secondary
in a state school. Has anybody had
experience with this process? I am
considering Kenilworth. I understand
that registration must take place
months beforehand. Thanks so much.
