Hi everyone,

I just got word on Friday that my WHM visa has been approved! I'm moving August 1st to the Huddersfield area.

I'm starting to look at options for moving some household items - mostly kitchen stuff and small odds and ends.

Who has had positive (and recent) experience with international moving companies? I'm looking at either loading things into boxes and taking them on the plane with me (some airlines allow up to 9 suitcases or whatever), or a company that will ship a few boxes for me.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi Lady Yorkshire:

We have had great experience with the MIGroup they are an international relocation company whom my father used when he moved to Zurich, when my brother moved to London and my husband and I are using them to move to Edinburgh in a few weeks. We shopped around for prices and really, these guys were the best, most professional and really were very very competitive. I would suggest looking them up. THey have offices i think in Toronto and in Montreal .
