Moving into Germany

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum so forgive any mistakes.
I am of Polish origin, born in Poland, but living in Canada (Canadian Citizen) and am looking into moving to Germany in a few years. Do I have to go through all the immigration and visa stuff if I have a Polish birth certificate/ passport?
