Moving Permanently to the USA

Post Sun Aug 05, 2007 11:38 am

I want to live and work permanently in California.being Canadian and not on the Nafta list Ineed employer sponsorship.which the companies who want to hire me say they won't do the paper work. Is there any other way I can get to the USA.the companies want me but I need a Social Security Number. (I do have a State of Florida drivers licence.if that means anything.) Please give me some advice.I will pay all fees to become a permanent resident or even get a working visa which will lead to permanent residency. Thanks

Well, if you are not qualified for a TN visa, and you can't find any company to sponsor you, your options are limited.

You cannot get a SSN unless you are eligible, which would mean you need employment authorization.
