moving to belfast spring 3kids need advice

I am moving to belfast in the spring with 3 kids. I am a single mom and would appreciate to hear from anyone who made the move to the uk from canada and the pros and cons.
I am worried about housing and jobs situation not to mention the schools.
I really want to go but I am very nervous. I used to live in belfast 20 years ago and I will hopefully be returning for good. If I can make it over there.
Is there any assistance available until you get established?

Presently living in London Ontario and I was born in belfast so visas are not an issue.

My family moved over to London last year and are surviving our first winter.

We have lived in UK, Mexico and originally came from Northern Ireland.

I would check out the various government web site on google (jobs and benefits )

Schools should not be too much of a problems but depends on the age of your kids.

Expect Belfast to have changed a lot in 20 years - a lot for the better.

Check web site for [britishexpats] for stories on people who have immigrated to canada and then returned to UK for info on removal costs, etc.
