Moving to Bristol!

Hi all!

I am thinking about moving to Bristol for work.
I visited last week to have a look around the city and quite surprised by the rush hour traffic in the city.

Based on my research so far, everybody seems to agree that the best part of Bristol is Clifton. My work is located right at Filton Airfield and it seems like a long drive through the city so I can already imagine the commute being brutal. I am also considering Bradley Stoke as it is very close to work and seems to be a safe place to live. Please suggest any alternative locations or offer insight into those two areas that I mentioned above.
