Hi there, My husband was offered
employemne in Canada, Saskatoon in
April this year. We had begun the
process of moving there when in July
I found out we were pregnant. We will
be able to move to Canada before the
baby is born. I would just like to know
if anyone can tell me some of the
implications involved of only being in
Canada for 2 months and then having to
give birth. My husband will start work
as soon as we get there. He will be
there on a work visa, and I will be
on a temporary Residence visa. We will
be looking into applying to stay for
longer. Just the baby thing is worrying me a bit. Any advice? Confused

Will your husband's employer be offering health insurance benefits? You will definitely want to check on that, because I don't think the'll have access to provincial health insurance.

They said the the deductions from his salary include health insurance? So what does that mean? That we will be fine?

I think it means that you have health insurance. Your company already offers health insurance, but ask what your insurance covers and if it takes effect right away.
