Moving to Ireland?

Hi,
I don't see an Irish area in here so I'm going to post UK. I'm currently living in Canada and thinking about a move to Ireland (I know I can apply for a 1 year working visa)- am curious about the job situation and which are the best city/cities to live in. I'm a graphic/web designer/newspaper advertising production person. I don't need to live in a big centre but love culture, art & history. Help?

I was just reading today how good employment prospects are becoming in Dublin so, since it's by far the biggest city in Eire, you should probably head there first.

The same article also said how Belfast was fast improving too with the grim days of "the troubles" becoming a memory. But, of course, moving to Belfast would mean applying for a UK visa rather than an Irish one.
