Good day all, trying to get some info here.
Anyone have tips on where to find good jobs for English speaking folks, my german is very basic and am having a hard time finding such positions.
I would like to settle in Köln or München sometime next year and want to start my search soon.
Any info would be helpful and appreciated.

Cheers

i think my only advice would be: learn to speak german. i do not, but am learning. i am lucky to have been sent by my work, and during some tumultuous times with potential co. bankruptcy (while i was looking for another position here) it seemed that for people with my skills and experience, working with a few select customers/companies, german language skills are not necessarily a requisite. but that i dont think is the norm.
fwiw, koeln is awesome, would love to get back there and am working to do so next year sometime.

Yes, I am learning german now but only understand and speak the basics. I would like to land a job in the meantime instead of waiting until I am fluent.
Thanks for the info.

Going to apply to NATO but want a back-up just in case. Looking for a career in Logistics.
I specialize in Air freight management right now.

Well there are lots of logistics companies here. You could try to get a job at Schenker, UPS, DHL or at the airport. They always need people.

Check out jobpilot.de for job ads.

Good Luck!
