[b]Hello,
This is the first time i've been on this site, and thought maybe i would be able to meet some people who were, or are currently working in Portugal.

I'll be mainly in the Lisbon area, but ultimately would like to relocate to the Algarve.
Does anybody know what jobs are available? Im mostly interested in the Resorts, bars, and restaurants.

I do speak Portuguese (it might need alittle work, but i get by *lol)

Please get back to me.

--Thanx.

Hmm well I've been to Portugal but haven't lived there.

I had a friend once who lived in the Algarve and worked in a resort..She did massages and stuff and had it pretty nice, the resort really took care of her.

She didn't speak a word of portugese either, so you've got an advantage in that regard.

I'm sure the resorts and bars etc in that area are always looking for people. Do you have valid work papers?

Hi there,
I am from Manitoba but currently teaching English in Taiwan. I am very interested in working in Portugal but I have had no luck finding work. I just don't know where to look. I have family in Lisbon so I have a place to stay but I would like to find work before heading out there. I am really interested in how or if you have found work in Lisbon. I would appreciate any information you could give me. If I don't here from you, have a great trip, it is supposed to be paradise there.
