Moving to Sydney from Montreal

Hello!
I am being transfered to Sydney from Montreal at the earliest Nov.15 and latest January 1.Needless to say I've being doing alot of research on where to live, the cost of appartments, the price of cars (driving on the other side of the road forces me to get rid of my car here), cost of life, gyms (comparable to Mansfield or MAA), meeting people, ect.I am so looking forwards to the experience and although I don't need things to be squared away when I get there I wouldn't mind having a basic idea of how things work.
