Moving to the Cook Islands

Hi everyone;

I'm a Canadian and I'm getting married here in Canada in October to a Cook Island resident and will be moving to Rarotonga in December. I would appreciate any advise and all the suggestions I can get. There is not much information on line and I hesitate to wait until I actually get there.

I am very concerned about securing independent health insurance and wonder what company is the best. Someone recommended Southern Cross, but it looks like it's only for NZ residents.
