I am heading for Europe in March 2006! And am looking for tourcompanies with who i can do small tours. In this way i dont have to look for hostels or sights, they come to me!!
I have looked at, www.kontiki.com and at www.robsroadtrips.com
They have great trips and are affordable.
Does anyone can tell me must see places and if they have ever travelled with one of these companies.

Thank you so much and see u in europe!!!

There is a company called Stray Travel. It operates out of London. It's a hop on hop off tour of Europe. I've met ppl while on their tour and they loved it. You should chek it out at www.backpackeurope.com

Well, this is not a travel group, but its a travel program in Spain called ENGLISHTOWN where you live and socialize with spaniards in English, all expenses paid (once you're in madrid), for 7 day periods! Check out www.vaughanvillage.com, open for all english native speakers! it was a bomb, i went last week and had a great time - they look for people EVERY WEEK. Its pretty interesting because they have an entertainment director and everything to keep the week fun and diverse. Im going again in February...its something you can do over and over, you meet such great groups! Good luck with your search!

It is quite easy traveling around on your own if you stay in youth hostels, you will meet other travellers like yourself. Go to a bookstore and buy yourself a travelguide such as Let's Go Europe or Lonely Planet Europe. There is a lot of usefule information there for you. Make sure you visit some of Western and Eastern Europe.
