My Boyfriend just asked me to marry him

I am new here and I need help. I am living in the UK for nearly 4 years, and yesterday, my boyfriend proposed to me. I was wondering how to get my mariage legal ? Does any Canadian ladies wed a British citizen who would be able to give me some advice ?

I think a wedding would be the same wherever.
I got married to a british citizen.in the US!

But I'm not one of them legal specialist types.

Thanks for your comment. I thought the same thing as you and to be honest, nobody will stop me to marry the love of my life. Thanks for the congrats, this is much appreciated. I already brought my dress a week ago and it's gorgeous ! We just book our venue and we are going to get married the 12th June 09 - I can't wait !
