Name different on the passport

Post Thu Dec 27, 2007 8:42 pm

Hi guys,

I have a job lined up in the States and will apply for TN visa. Recently, I have found my first name and middle name interchanged on the passport and other photo ID card while my name on my degree is correct.
Passport and ID card: Minh Hoang Tran
Degree and employment letter: Hoang Tran
Would I get any problem with the border officer? I am too late for the change of name certificate. What could I do to prove that those names presenting the same person.
If anyone experience this, please help

Happy Holidays

Your passport is required by law to have your legal name on it, degrees and certificates typically are written out with the name you commonly use every day. I could be wrong of course, but I don't think its a problem. Check with TNVisaExpert.
