Are you sure that there will be hockey games broadcast this coming season?

The reason that I ask is that my assumption would be that NASN is an American Company & would therefore use American Satelite & Camera feeds, commentators, colour men, etc.

If that is the case, then don't hold your breath for hockey because there are now NO US networks that have rights to broadcast hockey games. The network contracts in the states ran out this season & none of them have renegotiated new contracts. So, the only way that Americans will be watching hockey this season is either in person, via Satelite from Canadian networks, or if they are lucky enough to live close enough to the Canadian border & are able to get TSN or CBC.

As of a couple of days ago this was still the case (I used to work at TSN & my contacts there have told me that the above is true).

They have feeds from ESPN, TSN, CBC, FOX and all sorts. They said they would have hockey so
I'll assume they will have hockey..
NHL AND NCAA

They get the CBC feed, and provide local colour commentary. The Scottish guy is quite funny (not necessarily on purpose). Definitely no Don Cherry!

for the live games, I might use the internet radio as a backdrop.
I used to go to live games at MAnchester and Nottingham, but the quality is so poor. Money on NASN is well spent I think.
