NATO Work Visa / Military Wife

I am married to an officer in the Canadian airforce, and we have just found out that we are posted to the States. I have asked my husband, and he says it is quite easy for spouses to recieve a work visa, and was just wondering if anyone could varify this, or if anyone has had any experience with this.

The lawyer on base where you currently are posted should be able to get you some information on that.

Depends on the immigration category, if it's one of the NATO classifications then any dependent can get work authorization: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-765%2 ... -16-08.pdf

You'd need to find out specifically what category he is being admitted in.
