Okay this is going to be a bit blunt, so fair warning.
I'm a us citizen in Maryland dating and seeing a canadian citizen in Edmonton. I need to know what options are to get her here in the US for at least a while due to the problems that have occurred with her schooling and because of that she hasn't gotten her student housing funding and is now being evicted. Now me personally I don't want the person I'm engaged to, to be homeless but the services to visit so far have been rather displeasing, I've visited 4 times was planning a 5th trip till this happened and now well we need options. So, I'm pretty much trying to navigate the US INS without any knowledge or how to do so or what exactly I need to do to get to where I need to so she would be staying here legally, sadly this girl is lost trying to figure out exactly what can be done.
So please can someone explain to me what exactly we can do to possibly facilitate this expediently, wasn't suppose to be this soon she had intended living with me over summer and we were going to start preparing for that at the end of next month. From there the summer together would determine if we kept the engagement or not, but right now I'm not quite sure what to do. Right now I'd like to get her here, since I have a stable job that isn't going anywhere, a townhouse over my head and well everything we would need but I need to know options for her to get back into school even if it is here in the states, maintain her citizenship if possible as well as my own for now, and basically stay with me. Normally Id be able to do the research and get this on my own but now well I've got a week to figure out and start to execute a viable plan for her else she is going to be homeless.
So sorry for the long wordy post but just to explain the situation as best I can.
