The background is: I am a Canadian, my husband is a Spanish citizen (holds a recent Spanish passport,too) but not a Spanish resident (he grew up in South America). I am able to get a job in Spain easily (IB/International school teacher) IF I am legally entitled to work in the EU. There are so many English speaking teachers from the UK that they don't want to bother going through the hassle of acquiring a visa for a non-EU resident.
The question is: WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR A FOREIGNER MARRIED TO A NON-RESIDENT SPANISH CITIZEN TO BE ABLE TO LEGALLY WORK IN SPAIN (OR ANYWHERE IN THE EU, FOR THAT MATTER)?
