NEED INFO RE: STAYING AFTER WORKING HOLIDAY EXPIRES

HELLO, MY VISA EXPIRES FEB 2007 HOWEVER I WANT TO STAY IN THE UK AND CONTINUE TO WORK. I MAKE ABOUT 25,000 PER YEAR AND I THOUGHT THAT THE HIGHLY SKILLED MIGRANT VISA WILL BE SUITABLE BUT I DON'T THINK I AM MAKING ENOUGH. ANYWAYS PLEASE HELP. I AM DESPERATE TO STAY. I NEED A SOLUTION.

Depending on what work you do, you might qualify for a work permit. However, in order to do this, your occupation must be on the "Occupation Shortage List". Other than that, I haven't found any other way of staying.

A lot of the people on this site had the same problem as you and are now staying as unmarried partners or spouses. Good luck though!
