My name is Cindy Drukier and I am a reporter for an international print and online paper called The Epoch Times. I live in Bangkok although I'm currently on a visit to Canada - so hello from the homeland!
I am writing a story about ex-pat Canadians for the Canada Day edition of the paper and am looking for people who can briefly answer a few questions -- nothing too weighty. But I need responses VERY SOON. If you are interested, just answer the questions below and send them directly to me at:
cindy.d@epochtimes.com
Thanks for your help!
Cindy
DEADLINE:
*
5 pm Thursday June 22* (Ontario time) – however, sooner is good too!
THE QUESTIONS:
1. How do people respond to you as a Canadian where you live? (what are people’s perceptions of Canadians?) – exemplary anecdotes welcomed!
2. Describe how you plan to spend Canada Day (July 1 in case you've forgotten) -- paint a picture for us
3. Feel free to add anything else that comes to mind - you never know what turns out to be useful
YOUR BACKGROUND:
3. Name
4. Age
5. Where’s “home” in Canada? (if you can’t answer that: where did you grow up? or where did you last live in Canada?)
6. Where are you living now? Alone or with family?
7. What work do you do?
8. Why did you first leave Canada?
9. How long you’ve been away from Canada? Have you worked elsewhere too?
If possible, please send with a photo of you in your foreign milieu – as high a resolution as possible, please!
