Hi,
I am currently going to School in the US and am a dual Can-US Citizen. I'm hoping to get a job down here soon(this summer) and was hoping my girlfriend would be able to come down and work. She is a graphic designer who completed her 4 year honors degree in Communication Design. She is also a Canadian citizen. My question is, is she able to work in the US? What type of Visa does she need to get? If she can work, can she work as a freelance designer?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

nope, she can't work freelance, she'll either need to find a company in the US willing to hire her and sponsor her for a TN, or marry you and get a spousal visa of some sort.
