alrighy then, i move into a new flat next week (better location, more space etc). apart from a fitted kitchen it is empty. not even light fixtures. for the first month ill be sitting in the dark in a corner making strange sounds, but will move to have some modest furnishings-eventually.
first up is a matress/dishes/pts and pans, , moving onto some ikea type cheapo fouton and going from there.
my question is, what is a good place either on line or in person to shop here? i know there are plenty of furniture shops, but i dont want to spend arm and leg, plus not looking for enough stuff that will cause me issues when/if i leave (since i've been here, i have bought nothing other than a bicycle.owning nothing seems to agree with me).
