Newfie planning to SWAP in UK! Anyone else?

Hi, I am an 18 year old female from Mount Pearl, NL hoping to do the SWAP program and be leaving right after the new year. Any other Canadians (or Newfies) planning/wanting to do the same, interested in chatting?
Do anyone know how quickly you can find work and how difficult is it to find a nice flat/apartment. I'm preferring to stay just outside of London.

Looking forward to meeting new people :)
