Imagine my surprise and dismay to discover that Mariah Carey (supposedly) is Canadian. At least, according to an article on divas in today's Independent, she is.

Personally, I question the veracity of the statement. Your thoughts?

Don't panic, the article was wrong. She's American, was born in New York.

So we only have Celine Dion to contend with.

I'm actually not a fan of any of the above mentioned But there are others I enjoy. Sam Roberts, Tegan & Sara, and all the indie bands sprouting up these days. A lot of good ones from Montreal.
