My husband (British) and I (Canadian from Quebec) have decided to move to Canada. I have been in the UK for 5 years and we really feel like it's time to move away (especially since I really miss my country!).

It's all very confusing at first and I wonder if anyone else here has done it before? I know I will need to sponsor him and all but the steps aren't so clear!

I am self employed and own a Canadian corporation and live in Ontario Canada. I am IT consultant and been offered a job by a recuriter for his client in USA. I will be doing all the work from my home here in canada but will have to vist the client in Connecticut USA.

My son and I left Canada to visit his dad in HK for a little more than 2 years and now his passport expired. He does have a British National (Overseas) Passport issued in HK which entitles him to visit Canada without a visa up to 6 months or so.
