Hey guys,

I'm planning on visiting a few friends this summer and staying in the US for 4 months. I'm a Canadian citizen, and I was just wondering if that'll be a problem?

I'm staying at a friend's apartment in Manhattan for the first month, and exploring New York / taking in the sights.

For the 2nd month till the 4th month, my other friend is getting a cottage in the Hamptons so we're gonna ...

VW Foregin Business Professional Program

I know there are a few posts about this but I'm wondering if we can add to that knowledge.

I may be moving to California from Ontario for work on a TN visa. It sounds like the VW Foreign Professional Program is the best option for securing a vehicle (which I currently do not have and will need); however, being on a TN visa, it extends at most up to 3 years. The VW FPP ...

Canadian working in the USA

Hey all, I recently got a job in the USA and plan on working there for the next few years on a work visa. I plan to come back to Canada eventually but right now I'm just going to enjoy the work experience. My question is how am I going to file my taxes in the future? Do I file them with Canada or with the USA?

Thanks.

Things to consider before moving to California from Toronto

I put this in the Serbinkski forums and I know Nelson posts helpful answers on both forums; just hoping to get some more opinions and advice. Hope that's okay.

I work in Toronto right now and I have accepted a job offer to work in California (on a TN-1 to be granted); I currently live in Toronto with my parents and will be visiting home when possible. My plans are to work in the US ...
