Our Business needs warm climate

Currently we are a couple of Canadians feeling rather stuck in Canada!! We have a small business and we are told over and over again that we would do exceedingly well in the Southern US States ie: Florida or California etc. We tend to agree with this as we currently do a lot of internet business in those areas. One of our suppliers in the US has told us that there is no one doing ...

International driver's permit

Should I get one? Do I need one? I thought I read I could use my Ontario license but now I don't know where I saw that.

It's only $15, but $$$ is tight these days.

Thoughts?

UNESCO info please.

Hi There,

Last january, I responded to a vacant position on the UNESCO official web site using the online system. It was what I considered a dream job; working out of the educational office in Santiago. But since then nothing, seven months later and I haven't heard of them. I check on their official site where they post the status of closed postings and mine is still in progress; even a position that closed two ...

My daughter, a Canadian citizen , living in Sweden, would like to take part in the volunteer program Katimavik. She would not qualify for OHIP as she might not be stationed in Ontario for 153 consecutive days. Any fast and helpful suggestions will be greatly appreciated. The application deadline is approaching ...

We still want to keep things going and maybe he will move over to Canada one day once we get our 'stuff' together?! Hello all,

I have been living in Japan for almost a year now and have been trying to get some information on my tax liability situation in Canada in preparation for what looks to be my return in the spring of 2005.

I have searched the CCRA website up and down and all of the information I have found is vague and non-committal in nature as far as giving me a definitive - Yes, you ...
