A Canadian boy (architect) w/ TN visa since 2006 is married to a Korean girl (pianist) w/ O-visa in US. We both went colleges/masters in US w/ F1 Visa and married last year (2011) in NJ.


Our ultimate goal is to get US greencard, but with downfall of economy, my company is hesistant to sponsor a greencard now.

so our option is either H1B and H4 or TN and TD since it is too much ...

I'm a Canadian residing and working in the USA on an H1B visa. I got my first DUI last year, for which I was accepted into a pre-trial diversion program i.e pay fines, take Alcohol classes, do community service, serve unsupervised probation and case gets dismissed and expunged. I did get fingerprinted though, so I figure a background check at a POE will reveal this.
