Hi Folks,

I will be moving to the U.S as a TN-er for a year (at least initially). I was wondering if somebody can answer a couple of questions w.r.t OHIP

1, Do I have to inform the Ministry of Health of my departure ? or fill out any forms ?

2, Will I still be covered by OHIP for some duration of time even AFTER moving to the U.S ?

I'm thinking of getting my TN visa 3 or 4 weeks in advance of my start date. (I've been reading that you can get the TN only within 2 weeks) But I need more time than that coz I need to resign, pack my stuff and find tenant for my condo.

Here's my dilemma,

I'm a Biologist (M.Sc in Biology) but all my research/graduate work was focused in Molecular Biology which essentially is the same thing as Biochemistry. I'm currently getting a position with a biotech company in the USA as a research scientist in protein purification. The job's description pairs up perfectly with NAFTA's biochemist job description.

What should I write on my employment letter? Should I apply as biochemist or biologist? I can't really ...
