Hello, I've been reading some posts and it's obvious Social Work is one skill that is needed in the UK. But I just finished my MSW and I don't have any other experience for social work. Based on my situation and the need of social workers in the UK, do you think it will be hard to find a job quickly with a work permit visa?

My wife and I have been in the US since 2002 on work visas. I filed for non-residency when I left Canada but didn't received any notification. When we left Canada, we have no assets, and we cancelled/close all licenses, credit cards etc. Since that time, we've decided to move back to Canada but she would move back first. My wife moved back to Canada in Sept of last year and did not work ...

Can I apply at the border for the TN visa 4 or 3 weeks ahead of my start date? Or is the 2-week rule strictly followed?

Ideally, I would like to get the visa without entering the U.S. yet, then resign from my job in Canada and arrange all my stuff. Then leave for the U.S. to work.

I recently finished my under-grad at McGill, with a Major in Accounting. Before pursuing my CA I decided to move to Australia for a year. I'd love to hear people's thoughts on that. Are there any accountants that could let me know how the job market is? Is there a huge demand for CA's or will an under-grad suffice?
