Hi Everyone,

I have dual citizenship (UK/Canada) and hold a UK passport.
I haven't yet used my UK citizenship and I am wanting to move to Scotland this year.

I know that I need to apply for a few things once a I land in Scotland including:
National Insurance Number
Healthcare - get a GP
Opening a bank account
Documentation for taking my cat & dog with me from Canada

Any help, advice or websites ...

Since being steered in the right direction on visas (ancestory) only a few short days ago, this pipe-dream has been gaining momentum rather quickly. However as answers come, so do more questions. How is the professional driving industry faring in Scotland? I have bus operating experience and currently doing the same here in Toronto.

As for qualifications, all i got is a cdn college 3-yr diploma from a public community college.....and a couple of yrs experience related to that.
